We’ve already seen the more exclusive parties in Venice during Carnival. Good, but you can still live this exciting celebration without spending crazy prices or getting an almost impossible invite. The Carnival atmosphere invades the whole city and during this period, there are many historical palaces, hotels and bars of all types, rigorously masked, all with the desire to have fun in Venice for Carnival.
Party on the Venetian Galleon (80-90 euros)
Friday January 29th and February 5th or even January 30th and February 6th you can embark on a traditional Venetian Galleon and live this crazy and enchanting period on a boat of another era. It is an incredible party in the middle of the lagoon between some of its most fascinating islands.
Cioccolata Danzante (100 euros)
Hosted in one of the most exclusive and covered campielli in the chic hotel Splendid in Venice, this charming Cioccolata Danzante (dancing chocolate) combines tasting and dance lessons: Saturday January 30th, Friday Feburary 5th and 7th 2016 between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.; you can sip hot chocolate and taste typical venetian desserts, while an expert dance instructor and his partner will show you traditional Carnival dances.
Tiepolo Ball (100 euros)
Palazzo Pisani Moretta hosts for the 17th consecutive year the Tiepolo Ball. Held February 4th 2016, Fat Thursday, the Tiepolo Ball- Grand Carnival Ball is one of the most anticipated events. It is a unique occasion to visit the special palace during this “happening” time of the year.
Carnival of Music and Magic (65 euros)
Palazzo Contarini Porta di Ferro opens up to uncover the cold winter afternoons of the XVII century, when the rich aristocrats would listen to music and delight in tarot card readings. Venetian patisseries, refreshments, hot chocolate, and Prosecco will surround the event.
